I'd like there to be some way to convey "Do not disturb" to clothing-shop assistants. It seems that when I'm feeling like I'd like some quiet time browsing some retail establishments, I get these Lucy Loudypants hovering, helpfully pointing out that "should I need other sizes, there are some in the back". Oh, is that how it works? As if it might be my first time shopping...
Would it be rude to wear my ipod into stores? I could pretend that I was at museum, receiving guided information about each designer...I could start "shushing" people really loudly like a dusty ole lady...
